Longitudinal correlated changes of global and organization‐based self‐esteem at work

The role of different forms self-esteem (i.e., global vs. domain-specific) at work and their longitudinal changes associations have yet to be examined. Our aim is analyze the pattern between (GSE) organization-based (OBSE). We used three-wave data (N = 1616) newcomers beginning career. Results from multivariate latent growth curve models revealed that OBSE GSE decreased linearly. Their trajectories were positively correlated (rslopes 0.52), suggesting positive in both self-esteem. Finally, differently predicted job satisfaction, commitment, engagement, burnout. Findings support importance simultaneously considering work.
